These handmade pizza earrings are absolutely adorable! They make the perfect gift for any pizza lover!
The Process:
These earrings started out as a lump of polymer clay. I hand mixed my own colors, and created two full pizza-shaped “dough” bases. From there, I mixed red liquid clay with regular polymer clay to create the sauce, and added it to the dough just like you would any real pizza! Then, I mixed up the “cheese” with some more liquid clay, and a dash of polymer clay. I then carefully applied the cheese to the sauce, making sure to keep some of the sauce showing. Then, to the pepperoni pizza I added the “pepperoni”—a clay cane made from transparent polymer clay and red polymer clay that was sliced up to resemble pepperoni. After some quick shading, the addition of eye pins, and a large amount of texturizing with an x-acto knife, the pizzas were placed in the oven! After they were baked till golden-brown I added the finishing touch: UV resin over the cheese to make it extra shiny! These pizzas are now ready for the world!
